Less than an hour from Palermo, Camporeale opens onto a peaceful landscape of vine-covered hills, small farms and family-run wineries. It is a place where wine is still deeply personal – shaped by the land, made in intimate cellars and shared by the people whose families have cultivated these vineyards for generations. 

Visit two carefully selected wineries, each with its own character and approach to Sicilian winemaking. Meet the producers, step inside their cellars, and taste wines directly where they are made. Your discovery into indigenous grapes and local expressions may include varietals such as Catarratto, Grillo, Perricone, Nero d’Avola, and other varieties chosen according to the estates visited. 

The day also includes a leisurely lunch with wine, inspired by the honest cooking, typical of the Sicilian countryside. Depending on the season, the table may feature local cheeses and cured meats, fresh ricotta, vegetables preserved in oil, handmade pasta, roasted or slow-cooked specialties and simple desserts rooted in family tradition. 

With two different winery encounters in one day, this experience offers a lively and intimate introduction to western Sicily’s emerging wine culture – close enough to Palermo for an easy escape, yet far removed from the rapid pace of the city.
